- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx

- Message-id: <bug-428141-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=428141
Summary: Clicking on edit in the partitioner resets the file
system type to ext3
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Beta 1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: bitdealer@xxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
When you create a partition in the expert partitioner and set the file system
type to e.g. "swap" and save it, it gets reset to "ext3" when you click the
edit button later. If you don't click edit it gets correctly shown as "swap"
file system in the overview dialog that is shown when one leaves the
partitioner during installation.
Also "swap" isn't listed as mount point but apparently it works if one enters
it manually. Please list it explicitly as mount point and make it get selected
automatically if one selects "swap" as file system (just like it was earlier).
