--- Comment #5 from Thiemo Dürr <urblr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> 2008-09-15

i found some bugs which are not really duplicates (all s2ram/disk related) but
may be related:

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=412220
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=351119

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi-support/+bug/23497

Following the guide in bug 412220 i could get the internal keyboard working
again using following command (but those only works when AC is plugged in
before entering, without it the keyboard still wont work):

echo -n "i8042" > /sys/bus/platform/drivers/i8042/unbind
echo -n "i8042" > /sys/bus/platform/drivers/i8042/bind

I also now enabled i8240.debug on kernel cmdline and attach the dmesg output
(booting on battery). In the dmesg:

floppy0: no floppy controllers found

Notice the "auxerr" reported. The fix in bug 351119 seems not to resolve the
issue, as i use 2.6.25.16-0.1-pae (but, too, a pae version - coincidence?)
