I'm having problems with 11.0 x86_64 on an HP xw6600. I have a USB 2.0 device,
a Hauppauge PVR USB2. I get errors like:
Sep 1 21:17:24 mark kernel: pvrusb2: Timed out control-write
Sep 1 21:17:24 mark kernel: pvrusb2: Device being rendered inoperable
Sep 1 21:17:24 mark kernel: pvrusb2: ***WARNING*** pvrusb2 device hardware
appe
ars to be jammed and I can't clear it.
Sep 1 21:17:24 mark kernel: pvrusb2: You might need to power cycle the pvrusb2
device in order to recover.
However, nothing is actually wrong with the device. If I unload ehci_hcd and
then load the pvrusb2 module, the device operates as expected.
