Some terminals do not support escape sequences. rc.status does a test and sets
$esc if the terminal supports them. The following initscripts do not test the
terminal and blindly print escape sequences. This causes issues for machines
with terminals that do not support escape sequences.

kbd-1.12-187.1.x86_64/etc/init.d/kbd: echo -n -e '\033%G' >
$tty
kbd-1.12-187.1.x86_64/etc/init.d/kbd: echo -n -e '\033%@' >
$tty
kbd-1.12-187.1.x86_64/etc/init.d/kbd:
CONSOLE_MAGIC="\033$CONSOLE_MAGIC"
