https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=420850 Summary: psqlODBC require additional configuration after installation Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jarl@softace.dk QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer After installing psqlODBC 'odbcinst -q -d' displays no drivers. An additional installation command is necessary for the psqlODBC driver to be integrated in the unixODBC installation. Something like this: odbcinst -i -l -d /usr/lib64/psqlodbcw.so -r [PSQL] Description = PostgreSQL Driver64 = /usr/lib64/psqlodbcw.so This is not very nice, such integration should happen already when installing psqlODBC. My experience is from SuSE 10.3, but I believe the situation is the same on SuSE 11.0 See also bug 336140 comment 4. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
