Summary: xv causes libxcb warning
Product: openSUSE 11.0
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: X11 3rd Party Driver
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: wharms@xxxxxx
QAContact: sndirsch@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---

since years i use xv to place picture on my desktop background using:
xv -q -root -8 ~/.fvwm/tux-rakete.jpg

since upgrading Xorg it causes an error:

libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to lock an already locked connection,
which indicates a programming error.
There will be no further warnings about this issue.
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major Opcode: 4

removing the -8 causes the picture to show up. but the error is still there.
(-8 causes 8bit colorreduction)

removing the -q will make the warning vanish
(-q prevents xv going interactive)
