- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx
- Date: Tue, 19 Aug 2008 21:35:40 -0600 (MDT)
- Message-id: <bug-418534-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=418534
Summary: yast2-product-creator does not add patterns
Product: openSUSE 11.0
Version: Final
Platform: x86
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: YaST2
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: bart@xxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
I am trying to make an installation DVD with some packages from the language
add-on CD.
I booted from the freshly made installation DVD. When I reach the screen where
I can change all the installation settings, it complains that I need to
manually resolve some package dependencies. When I click on the software link,
I don't see any patterns. Clicking on details brings me to the software
selection screen. Here I get this warning:
Nothing provides pattern:basesystem needed by product:OpenSUSE-DVD-11.0.noarch.
There are no patterns at all, and the menu entry for patterns is also missing
in the dropdown menu.
I looked in the directory which yast2-product-creator uses to copy all the
installation files to. The file suse/setup/descr/patterns is 0 bytes.
The files suse/setup/descr/dvd-11.0-110.3.i586.pat.gz and
suse/setup/descr/non_oss-11.0-110.3.i586.pat.gz are also missing.
