The bug you linked is supposed to be fixed with the patch for another bug:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=394309
This patch has been already released according to bugzilla, and I have a fully
updated system, so the problem persists.
I'm sorry, but I don't want to try the SVN version on this system (the only
11.0 I have) because it is the laptop I work on.
I have fixed switching back to YaST-qt again, as it happened in 10.3.
I take advantage of this bug report to give a suggestion for the next openSUSE
release. I'm sure it will be ignored, but it's worth to try. Please drop
yast-gtk. There are mainly three reasons for this:
- It is a duplicate effort now that qt4 allows theming.
- It is clearly behind the qt version in terms of quality, considering the
problems it had when 11.0 was released, and those which are still affecting it.
- It failed the goal of providing an _identical_ gtk interface for YaST, which
was the original idea. This generate inconsistency in the distribution
management tool for users of the two DE's.
With kind regards,
Alberto
