I also believe that the following is a related bug, but I could file it
separately if you tell me to do so.
Some other applications such as command line utilities related to fglrx -
fglrxinfo, glxgears, fgl_glxgears etc produce the following error:
fglrxinfo: xcb_io.c:352: _XReply: Assertion `!dpy->xcb->reply_data' failed.
Aborted
Also Paraview gives the same error. I tend to think it a video driver related
error and I think there was an update to ATI drivers last week.
I can't say when exactly it started, but it certainly was in the end of last
week (week of 4-10 August). First time I noticed OpenOffice.org wouldn't start
was last Friday.
Please let me know if more information is needed.
