Summary: yast2 prints strange error messages and after a while
crashes
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Factory
Platform: PowerPC
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: pczanik@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Tested on todays factory (08-08-11): during installation a strange error
message is shown:
"Error:
The storage subsystem is locked by an unknown application.
You must close that application before you can continue.
[continue] [cancel]
"
'continue' just repeats this message. When clicking on 'cancel' a couple of
times, installation continues for a while, but soon after the type of desktop
is choosen, yast2 crashes with the following message:
"
