Well, I apparently didn't remove enough of the irrelevant output at the
beginning of the file I attached, so yes, according to the time stamps I
apparently plug and unplug the device at 18:14:18 and 18:15:03 and a second
time at 18:15:13 and 18:15:49 and only then, there's finally the interesting
case.
I plug the device at 18:16:05, then detach the HID driver to access the device
via libusb at 18:16:34 and try to send commands via libusb, resulting in
ehci_hcd dying immediately(see this message:

)
And that's the place, were I'm _not_ unplugging the device.
