https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=408915 Summary: Dolphin barfs invalid error on large file deletion Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jrobiso2@ford.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Situation: 1. EIDE drive in enclosure connected via USB 2. openSUSE 11.0 RC1 iso image on drive 3. open file list via "new device notifier" thingy - Dolphin opens 4. right click on iso file and select "Trash" ("delete" no longer exists?) 5. Dolphin says "file does not exist" Tried this multiple times. Eventually deleted manually in CLI. To test: "Trashed" 3 other files from same location, all smaller (<= 50M). All files trashed fine. Conclusion: Dolphin is barfing on handling really big files but gives wrong error code. File exists, but Dolphin can't handle trashing it. Also - whatever happened to plain old "Delete" option in right-click menu? I don't like having to delete twice - once from Dolphin, again from trash can. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
