This appears to be a regression. when browsing using dolphin or konqueror and
the kio_http ioslave, filenames with spaces appear using URLEncoded names
instead of actual names (thus, a filename of "foo bar" is "foo%20bar"). When
clicking one of these files, the request is URLEnoded a second time, turning
the final request to "foo%2520bar", which is guaranteed to fail.
