No, dhcpcd 3.2.3 stores the client ID right. In /etc/sysconfig/network/dhcp you
have to wirte the human readable form, but intern the hex presentation will be
used and stored in /var/lib/dhcpcd/dhcpcd-ethN.info too.
For example setting /etc/sysconfig/network/dhcp
