You could try "verify system" function in YaST Software Management (i hope the
10.3 version has it).

As for this bug, what is it you want us to be fixed here? The software doing
the update (did you use 'yast online update' or the updater applet or zypper?
Didn't it tell you there are some dependency issues before performing the
update?). What repositories did you use?
