Just use your desktop applet to suspend
AFAIK there is no support for ThinkPad T60 Fn+F4 anf Fn+F12 keys, is there ? so I still use modified /etc/acpi/events/acpid_thinkpad_hotkeys and /usr/lib/hotkey-setup/thinkpad_hotkey_handler from 10.3 to call s2ram/s2disk.
or "powersave -U" to directly call the HAL suspend methods. If you deliberately want to, you can use "pm-hibernate" as root.

I'll bring up the segfault with upstream and will fix it there, so that it does not happen in 11.1 anymore.
