this was also the case for me.
this bug also hits me on exactly the same way!
after upgrading from 10.3 to 11.0 i had NO libglib-2_0-0-32bit!
but i had that old glib2-3bit.
after deleting glib2-3bit and installing libglib-2_0-0-32bit
32bit-gnome-applications are working again.
i think this is update-bug.
