https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=402507 Summary: Symlink prevents usage of classic X cursor theme Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: bugreports@tittel.net QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- After a fresh openSUSE 11.0 installation, there is a symlink /usr/share/icons/default pointing to the DMZ cursor theme. This breaks the mouse cursor theme selection in KDE3. If you go to the KDE Control Center to "Mouse->Cursor Theme" and select "No theme - The old classic X cursors", it will still use the DMZ cursor theme instead of the classic X cursors. Also with the symlink in place, it is not possible to use the classic X cursors as the system theme by leaving X_MOUSE_CURSOR in /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager empty. If the /usr/share/icons/default symlink is removed, both problems are fixed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
