Thanks for the report. I've a few questions first:
1) You mention an update from RC1 to RC9 in your subject but we didn't offer a
RC9 release. What do you mean with RC9?
2) Do you use the KNetworkmanager or Gnome Networkmanager applet?
3) How do you shutdown the wlan connection?
wlan0/wmaster0:
The behavior is absolutely correct. wlan0 is the interface which you can use to
establish a wlan connection. wmaster0 is a master device which is used by
mac80211 wlan stack. Please look at
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/developers/Documentation/mac80211#Themasterdevicewmaster0
for more information
Please attach /var/log/messages and /var/log/NetworkManager if you can't
establish a wlan connection. Thanks!
