Both installations will only work without an Internet connection. The notebook without internet access is a SONY VAIO VGN with 2Gb Ram and 160Gb Harddrive and the notebook with Internet access is a HP ZV6000 with 1 GB Ram and 80GB Harddrive. Installation Sony counts with an Intel Chipset and it connected like a Dream. Only flaws as far as I can see is that YAST2 is not fully functional and that the SD Card does not show up. Installation HP did not work with online support and after 6 attempts with version opensuse 10.3 x86-64 I chose a opensuse 11 alpha version which went in nicely, it gave me everything I wanted but wireless. No ndsiwrapper and b43-fwcutter helps. I'll try a new install later on the day. It did not work because of the conflicts / time span neeeded to see if there are conlficts during install. I simply could not conclude the software setup.
