https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=399199 Summary: T60p - suspend/resume - no networking ... Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mmeeks@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Sigh - I wish there was a sane component to assign this sort of thing to: "suspend/resume" or some obvious gateway to the mobile devices team [ or did I miss it ]. Anyhow - I suspended my T60p running factory, and it resumed: which was great :-) Unfortunately, it doesn't believe my wired networks are there anymore. And - yet more interestingly, the USB ethernet device is not 'lit' (or apparently configured) - normally, if it were a hal / network manager problem I would expect the kernel to have configured the device & got a signal / connection light up on it. Clearly this hardware has worked previously - SLED10 at least works nicely. Yet more interestingly, apparently the wireless resumed successfully - I see local wireless networks in nm-applet; which is the converse of the normal situation. I attach a bundle of logs: messages, NetworkManager, wpa, hwinfo etc. HTH. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
