* First-stage installation was called with Cmdline="splash=silent
  vga=0x305" (1024x768), so the same resolution was also used for
  the second stage.

* During second stage YaST scripts report:
  |-- YaST seems to be aborted abnormally !

* After reboot / Second stage restart, there is the very same error:
  |-- YaST seems to be aborted abnormally !

# The first run of second stage installation has been aborted from the
  Hostname and Domain Name dialog (Qt).
  (manually by user)

# The second one went OK (Qt).


Alois, how did the "corrupt characters on a blue background" look like? Please,
try to compare it to the next run of second stage installation.

I haven't found anything suspicious in logs. At least nothing related to broken
X configuration.
