Next the mounting. Looking at the KIWIBoot.pm , it seems that the filesystem type is not being detected while attempting to mount the loop device. Not sure why this is happening. I am building an image based on SLED 10 SP1 and I am using "squashfs" for the RO partition and "reiserfs" for the RW partition.
