https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=398369 Summary: bash tab completion with cd is broken Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: captain.magnus@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- mboman@linux-2ztj:~/dev> rpm -q bash bash-3.2-112 mboman@linux-2ztj:/data/dev> ls -l total 0 drwxr-xr-x 5 mboman users 57 2008-06-09 08:47 openSUSE:Factory mboman@linux-2ztj:/data/dev> ls -l openSUSE:Factory/ total 8 drwxr-xr-x 3 mboman users 4096 2008-06-09 08:48 gnome-main-menu drwxr-xr-x 4 mboman users 4096 2008-06-09 08:33 gnome-panel If I type; mboman@linux-2ztj:/data/dev> cd op<TAB> it will expand to mboman@linux-2ztj:/data/dev> cd openSUSE:Factory/ I then add 'g' and hit tab; mboman@linux-2ztj:/data/dev> cd Factory/gnome- It removes 'openSUSE:' from the command line. On another machine with bash-3.2-108, this works without any problems. Also, if I replace 'cd' with ls, it works fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
