https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=398003 Summary: Sharing Wlan0 to eth0 via networkmanager keeps losing the defaultroute. Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: novell@rvp.endjunk.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer I attempted to do internetsharing from wlan0 to eth0 using networkmanager. At random times the default route to wlan0 would just disappear..no warning....and it would reset itself to the defaultroute for eth0. Deleting the eth0 default route via "route del default gw 192.168.2.1" and reenabling the wlan0 one via "route add default gw 192.168.1.1" worked for a while. I played with the settings and disabled dhcp thinking maybe it was the problem. In the end I went back to the old ifup/ifdown scripts instead of networkmanager and everything worked as it was supposed to. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
