https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=397065 Summary: vm-install on sles10 sp1 fails to install opensuse11 as domU Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: SLES 10 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Xen AssignedTo: cgriffin@novell.com ReportedBy: ffoerster@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- The machien is a x84 system with 4GB RAM. It uses PAE to access all the ram. Vm-install tries to find the vmlinuz-xenpae kernel on the opensuse11 RC1 CD but could not find it. The xen kernel on the media is PAE enabled but is named like the on PAE kernel in the past. Copying the media on the disk, making a softlink from vmlinuz-xenpae to vmlinuz-xen and install from here via nfs solved that problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
