Could it be that I would need to install any daemon or something alike to get pulseaudio running ? (However, it should not quit or block the app if it can't establish sound connection. This is so KDE 1 like ;)
When I run civclient without pulseaudio running, it works (with this warning: "*** PULSEAUDIO: Unable to connect: Connection refused").
