if you run sax2 from a console or with a new module as parameter it
never will read in your current xorg.conf because you want a new
configuration based on a new driver. X drivers are very different even
if they are supporting the same graphics chip family. That's the reason
why with -m ... you start from scratch
after your new configuration is written and you have started a new X
session with this configuration _active_ you can call sax2 from _this_
session and it will read in your current configuration. If you switch
from your current X session to a text console and run sax there sax2
assumes something is wrong with your current X session and will not
read in the configuration
