Xorg.99.log
Hello,
I've just upgraded from openSUSE 10.3 to 11.0 RC1 and found problem with
changning display resolution.
When I try to change resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x1024 i get following
error after pressing "Test" button:
SaX library: Success
X configuration: no information
I'll attach /var/log/Xorg.99.log mentioned in error message. I guess that the
most interesting part is following:
(**) FBDEV(0): using shadow framebuffer
(II) Loading sub module "shadow"
(II) LoadModule: "shadow"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules//libshadow.so
(II) Module shadow: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
compiled for 1.4.0.90, module version = 1.1.0
ABI class: X.Org ANSI C Emulation, version 0.3
(==) Depth 24 pixmap format is 32 bpp
(EE) FBDEV(0): FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO succeeded but modified mode
(EE) FBDEV(0): mode initialization failed
Fatal server error:
AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for driver 0
I have not yet installed any ATI drivers so framebuffer is being used.
