[Bug 395828] X configuration takes 1.5 minutes and gives only 800x600

I'm not sure I understand this. On two machines that use both the *same* GMA950
graphics, and the *same* openSUSE 11 RC1 Live system, *one* boots (reasonably)
fast and gets the correct resolution while the other doesn't (this is the
machine I have posted the infos for).
I guess the "I _have to_ run an X-Server" statement is true for both machines?
But why do the two behave so vastly differently then?
