I have a much larger log file if you require. I renamed the log file and
demonstrated the bug in a new small file rather than have you wade through a
huge file that demonstrates the bug for over 6 months plus other unnecessary
info. The original Network Manager log file is available should you wish.
The new presentation of the GUI interface that controls IP addressing, in my
opinion was retrograde in comparison to the ease of the version in 10.2. The
New presentation in 10.3 has many more issues, one of which is to drop the
established gateway IP if you change a static IP amongst a whole lot of other
stuff, however I am not going to bug report all the other issues.
Traditionally, any errors or suggestion in making the Yast GUI Network tool
better or to fix errors have been met with a WONTFIX first and foremost. The
same is true with anything to do with Suspend to Disk OR RAM.
I have attached a screen image of current settings
No testers out there are prepared to bug report either applications.
I am heartened you are interesting in this issue now, I was expecting the
normal WONTFIX ;-)
I have attached screen images of current network entries in the Yast Network
Tool
