Hi, 

11.0 again has a greeter bigger than screen on 800x600, where the close button
is outside reachable area (due to the panel). 

the previous solution for 10.3, namely putting the close button in the upper
right corner (where users expect it), was apparently reverted during the 11.0
branding upgrade.
