I will double check once more, but patches.suse/reiser4-sync_inodes is most likely the culprit.
Jeff, any idea what this patch does and why it would break only efika?
Yeah, it pushes the inode_lock/unlock from sync_inodes_sb() into sync_sb_inodes() and then renames that function to generic_sync_sb_inodes(). The idea is that it allows a file system to implement its own sync_sb_inodes(). With anything other than reiser4, it should be a no-op. Looking at the code, that's exactly what it's doing. Can you provide a sysrq+t during that hang? I'm not seeing anything that implicates that patch in the sysrq+t posted earlier. It's also troubling that removing the patch from the full series.conf doesn't fix it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
