https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=393211 Summary: Menu in the upper right desktop corner Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: bitdealer@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I'm not sure if the menu that is in the upper right corner of a default KDE4 installation is a plasma container or kde4 desktop menu ( http://www.notmart.org/images/whackypanels.png makes me think it is the former) but IMHO it's plain annoying, especially in that corner (at least for me). E.g. I like to trigger scale & expose plugins when I move the mouse in the upper corners. Further it interferes with the minimize, maximize & close buttons if one moves a window near that corner and is overally unnecessary "optical noise". Last but not least I don't think I need the options available in this menu very often (as in almost never). So could you please make that menu (and preferable those in all those plasma containers shown in the upper screenshot) optional and simply make those 3 commands available via "right click on plasma container / desktop" context menu popup?! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
