Summary: Backup of /etc/pam.d needed
Product: openSUSE 11.0
Version: Beta 3
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Blocker
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Update Problems
AssignedTo: yast2-maintainers@xxxxxxx
ReportedBy: kukuk@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
CC: coolo@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Since we have several packages in the field for 10.3, which corrupts or removes
/etc/pam.d/, YaST2 need to backup this directory like /etc/sysconfig on update.
I know, it is more a very late feature request, but we don't have workarounds
for all cases. A backup is the only way to recover in some few cases.
