Running OpenSUSE 11.0 Beta 3 on VMware (Server 1.04). VMware tools installed In SAX2, change Screen to: LCD 1400x1050 @ 60Hz (native for the machine it is on) (Have tried other variations on this theme with the same results) Set resolution to anything other than 800x600 (eg 1280x800). Run test. Works fine. Restart X Splash / login screens resize to new resolution, but after login the screen is back to 800x600. The generated xorg.conf does not contain any modelines (same as in previous bug report). Can use KRandRtray to resize the screen, but get the same issue as bug #391800. ie background image does not resize and task bar does not move to the new bottom of the screen. (See attached file for a screenshot) Tried using an xorg.conf from a SUSE 10.3 installation running on the same VMware server. Same result. This xorg.conf DOES contain modelines -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
