Please reopen if you should still have problems.
Hmm, but this happens so early, it cannot have something to do with KDE?
If this is not fixed yet, there might be another bug that cpufreq is not
activated at installation time. This should already work for AMD cpus
(powernow-k8), but maybe it broke for some reason, I double check.

It would be great if you could already give the next Beta an installation
check.
