I did todays factory update and now my MacBook does not boot anymore. Passing
vga=0 to the kernel I see at least the console:
Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok
Decompressing Linux... done.
Booting the kernel.
_
BUG: Int 14: CR2 1007c039
This seem to affect a lot people...
I built several kernels from the last days, it would be great if you could test
them to find out on which day the bug slipped in.
Please try the kernels, e.g. install them on top of another 11.0 (or even 10.3)
installation. Start with -65 and please report which one is the first that does
not boot anymore. It still may take a while (up to an hour) until the kernels
are built.
You find the kernels here (internal only):
/mounts/work/build/mbuild/stravinsky-trenn-6[56789]/{i386,x86_64}/kernel-default*.rpm
stravinsky-trenn-64 includes patches until 12-05-2008, -65 unitl 13-05-2008,
etc.
