[Bug 389944] booting xen results in system freeze / hang

In addition to disabling the network service, it would be interesting to see
what happens if you disable the xen networking script as well. To do this,
edit /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp and change this line:
(network-script network-bridge)
to this line:
(network-script )
With this change in place, the should be nothing that is trying to create
peth0.
