Some days ago, dhcp client stoped working on openSUSE10.3 During boot process when network is startet I get these error message: eth0 DHCP client NOT running but if I log in and do an rcnetwork restart or ifup eth0 the dhcp client will start. I did not change any configuration.
Does this means that there is just a message or does the dhcp client not start? Is the dhcpcd client running on the interface just after login? Please set DEBUG=yes in /etc/sysconfig/network/config and DHCLIENT_DEBUG=yes in /etc/sysconfig/network/dhcp, reboot and attach the /var/log/boot.msg file and the output of "ps ax | grep dhcp" just after login. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
