https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=390473 Summary: snd_hda_intel right channel noise Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 URL: http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.dist/br owse_thread/thread/08f36b71c8acf797 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@novell.com ReportedBy: cymerio@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I installed Beta1 in a laptop and I update every day. My problem is also described here, in a Debian mailing list: http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.dist/browse_thread/thread/0... I'll try to describe it better (sorry for my English in advance). If you don't touch anything, the output of the left channel is correct, but the right channel has a distorted and quieter sound than the left one. It sounds to me like some 8-bit robotic effect. If you move the volume slider, you get a loud white noise on the right channel. I will investigate further. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
