--- Comment #29 from Tejun Heo <teheo@xxxxxxxxxx> 2008-05-14 07:06:02 MST ---
Okay, got it. It's parport.

In SL103.

<6>parport_pc 00:07: reported by Plug and Play ACPI
<6>parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x778), irq 5, dma 1
[PCSPP,TRISTATE,COMPAT,ECP,DMA]

In SL110,

<6>parport_pc 00:07: activated
<6>parport_pc 00:07: reported by Plug and Play ACPI
<6>parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x778), irq 14, dma 1
[PCSPP,TRISTATE,COMPAT,ECP,DMA]

See the irq change? IRQ 14, which should be reserved for the primary IDE
channel, is now claimed by parport. When ata_piix tries to attach to it, it
can't claim the IRQ so it gives up. Dunno why parport now wants IRQ 14 after
all this time. Requesting for reassignment and cc'ing Thomas as the message
has "ACPI" in it. :-)
