The wireless router is one of the 2Wire access points / DSL Modems that ATT likes to distribute. Its key is a 64-bit Hex value in WEP. I have been able to make this connection previously on the same hardware with OpenSuse 10.3, so I am sure that it can work if we can track down a fix. I am a tech support engineer by trade, but not familiar with the internals of linux networking - I am very willing to help track this issue down if someone can provide a little coaching.
