This is the same as bug 388587 and appears related to bugs addressing non
detected NICs. fresh install of 11-B2 from DVD. Gnome desktop auto install. I
have 2 on board AsusTek MCP55 gigabit NICs. eth0 is connected but not
configured while eth1 is not connected but configured. I configured eth0 by
changing "assign interface to firewall zone" from "no zone..." to "external
zone" and rebooted. Under 10.3, Network Settings > Overview shows ASUSTek MCP55
Ethernet DHCP which is eth0 listed above ASUSTek MCP55 Ethernet Not configured
while 11.0 B2 the list is reversed.
I needed I can provide screenshots.
