https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=388616 Summary: KMail does not always use kdewallet's SMTP-password Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: one_way@online.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Problem occurs for quite some time now, both with the KDE4.0.x-Packages as well as with the current KDE 4.0.72-Packages (Repos openSUSE Factory and openSUSE KDE4.1 UNSTABLE). Sometimes Kmail (embedded in Kontact) "forgets" the SMTP-password during a session and asks again, offering the usual option to store the password using kdewallet (where the password should already be stored, however). I.e. you start KMail and send mails without problems, a few minutes later - with KMail still running - suddenly the password has to be entered once again when trying to send a mail. Reveiving mail (IMAP-authentification), however, works flawlessly and continuously. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
