I am using 2.6.25-default #1 SMP now. I haven't noticed any excessive crashing
lately. I think there is less crashing with this version, but I have
submitted a bug report on this latest version. I suspect a bad motherboard
design and I am not using pata_amd. If the cause is not obvious then we can
close this bug.
