https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=387659 Summary: wireless issues on suspend on lenovo thinkpad x61 tablet Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jimmac@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- The machine has the following wireless chip: 03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02) s2ram doesn't know about it: sys_vendor = "LENOVO" sys_product = "776294G" sys_version = "ThinkPad X61 Tablet" bios_version = "7SET25WW (1.11 )" By running `s2ram -f -a3` suspends and resumes perfectly. I tried adding S2RAM_OPTS="-f -a3" to /etc/pm/config.d/s2ram. This makes the machine suspend from the shutdown menu or the power applet or setting up a close lid event fine. But when resuming, wireless isn't showing up for NetworkManager. Just doing /etc/init.d/network restart fixes this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
