I have followed your instructions and after using zypper and yast I now have
the following empty directory /var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000001 is this correct?
I have not had a downloading problem with zypper since comment 4 but I have
used yast mostly, in fact my test of zypper as a result of your needinfo has
produced another bug 385980.
I have experienced several situations with yast download error "BAD" and on
click retry the package successfully downloads and installs.
Those problems should be in the new yast log posted to bug 385980.
I will use zypper more often to test.
