Summary: boot.iso firmware test broken
Product: openSUSE 11.0
Version: Factory
Platform: x86
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: casualprogrammer@xxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: Beta-Customer

Running Firmware Test from
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/boot/boot.iso
dated 01-May-2008 19:27 produces errors. Alas they are hard to note down.

Among them:

Invalid plugins
usbports.so
Undefined Symbol _stack_check_fail_local

pcipoke.so

The test produces a host of errors, which are probably invalid due to the above
and can also not be saved to USB.

Please advise on how to extract more information.
