I'm not sure whether it's a sound driver problem or a sound daemon problem.
IIRC, you are using pulseaudio, right? What happens if you restart PA after
resume?

Or, simply stop PA after resume and try "aplay -Dplughw foo.wav".
If this doesn't work, it's likely a driver problem. Please run
/usr/share/doc/packages/alsa/alsa-info.sh with --no-upload option before and
after suspend.
